EMMC is a Level II trauma facility with LifeFlight capability serving all of eastern and northern Maine.
- Compassionate patient care
NAMe staff members actively participate in the preoperative phase, taking time to talk with patients to assess their readiness for anesthesia and to help them understand and feel more comfortable about the anesthesia process. - Clinical instruction for nurse anesthesia students through our affiliation with the University of New England
- Collaborative work with anesthesiologists employed by the hospital in a care team model
- Solo anesthesia opportunities under the supervision of an ophthalmologist in the Eye Center of EMMC
